2010 Romance Reading Challenge

Okay...so I've found another Romance Reading Challenge to participate in for 2010! It's being hosted by The Royal Reviews blog. Be sure to click the link to pop over and join in.

Here's how it will work:


This is the second year we have run the Romance Reading Challenge. Although this year it will be a little different with more options for those die hard lovers of Romance novels. This challenge includes all sub genres of Romance i.e. paranormal, young adult, historical etc. So this should give you plenty of options.

Challenge Guidelines:

1. Anyone can join. You don't need a blog to participate.
--Non-Bloggers: Include your information in the comment section.

2. There are four levels:

-- Curious – Read 3 Romance Fiction novels.

-- Fascinated – Read 6 Romance Fiction novels.

-- Addicted – Read 12 Romance Fiction novels.

-- Obsessed – Read 20 Romance Fiction novels.

3. Any book format counts.

4. You can list your books in advance or just put them in a wrap up post. If you list them, feel free to change them as the mood takes you.

5. Challenge begins January 1st thru December, 2010.

6. When you sign up under Mr. Linky, put the direct link to the post about the Romance Reading Challenge. Include the URL so that other participants can find join in and read your reviews and post.

Since I love Romance so much, I'll choose the Obsessed level ... I'm sure I can read 20+ Romance books in a year. *grin*

2010 ~ Erotica Romance Reading Challenge

I've just in the last couple of months started reading Erotica Romance. So far, I'm loving it! *wink* I've decided to participate in the 2010 Erotica Romance Reading Challenge hosted by Erotic Horizon (click link to get your button).

If you'd like to join, too, here are the requirements:

Timeline: 01 Jan 2010 - 31 Dec 2010
Rules: To read TEN(10) Erotica Romance in 2010
Details:

• You don't have to select your books ahead of time, you can just add them as you go. Also if you do list them upfront then you can change them, nothing is set in stone!

• The books you choose can crossover into other challenges you have on the go.

New Books on My Shelf ...

As my very first post on my new blog, I would like to introduce my first meme. I've seen other variations of this meme, but I'm changing it up a little. Instead of only posting the books that come in your mailbox, this way you can post ANY new books that you've added to your shelf each week, (every other week, once a month, whenever you have the time to post them!)...no matter how they got there. Maybe you bought them, maybe they were a gift, or they really did come in the mail. Doesn't matter! As long as they're new additions to your shelves, you more than welcome to join in the fun. :)
